Description
This 1/4-inch jack can be used to replace or repair the front panel audio input on an Effect Gizmo or Rack Gizmo.
On the most recent versions of these products, the assembly plugs into the main circuit board. No soldering is needed. However, on older Effect Gizmos or RG-16s, the cable needs to be soldered directly to the circuit board. If you're unsure which version you have, remove the top lid and see if the short gray cable from the jack ends in a white connector, or if it's soldered directly to the circuit board. If the latter, the cable will have to be disassembled a bit - the white connector needs to be removed from the cable so that the bare ends of the wire are exposed.
