I have seen the future, and it is the PBC6X

One of the most remarkable things about the 6X is the size—it's really small. To be clear, this is a good thing, but I was surprised when I opened the box and it was so much smaller than what I had guessed based on pictures online. It's incredible how much analog wizardry is happening in this thing, and yet it fits very comfortably on a small to medium pedalboard. Not a behemoth switcher. The software can be intimidating initially, but I found that almost all questions are answered in the mouse-over help bubbles in the software. Anything that doesn't make sense there is usually addressed int eh forum. There are good videos out there, but the sophistication of the software and the capabilities really merits a comprehensive video tutorial library. Cost and effort can be high to do this, but a suggested approach would be to simply do video screen captures with voice-over, but script it out so there are chapters (use the manuals as the guide!). Cut the videos into short chapters that get right to the point and then tag and title them on Youtube so the user knows exactly what gets covered. You'll get even more adoption that way. I would imagine less complaints about the complexity of the software and more "wow this is amazing". Just a thought. RJM makes great stuff that is clearly very, very well thought out and from the heart. Love it!
