Description
This box allows you to phantom power the Mastermind GT. It has as inputs two standard 5-pin MIDI connectors and a DC power connector. These inputs are combined into a 6-pin XLR female connector.
This is the best choice for use with an Axe-Fx III or Kemper Profiling Amp. The two five pin connectors are connected to the KPA's MIDI input and output. The box combines the MIDI input, MIDI output and power input into one XLR-6 connector that goes to the Mastermind GT. Only the Mastermind GT/22 has the XLR-6 connector, although we do sell DIN-7 to XLR-6 adapter cables.
Please note: the Axe-Fx I and II work best with a one input phantom power box, also available on our site.
NOTE: Unless you're sure you want a box with an XLR-6 connector, you probably are better off with our DIN-7 phantom power boxes. These boxes use more standard 7-pin MIDI cables.
XLR-6 and MIDI cables can be purchased from Best-tronics and other custom cable builders.
